Soaked Oats

There are other ways to do this, and some of them may be healthier.  I make no claims for this version so far as health is concerned, but this is delicious.

Put four cups of oats in a bowl
Stir in four tablespoons of plain yogurt and enough water to just barely cover the top of the oats.
Cover with a towel or saran wrap and leave out overnight.

In the morning, add a little milk or cream and apple butter, and cook gently until of the consistency you like.



Stir in a spoonful or two of apple butter.
